About Firmiva
Built for the way accounting firms work
Accounting firms run on agreed services, deadlines and handoffs between people. Firmiva is being built to hold all of that in one place, so a firm can see what it has agreed to do, what’s due and who’s doing it.
Principles
How we build Firmiva
Say what’s true
We describe only what Firmiva does today. Anything that isn’t built yet is labelled as planned or in development.
Records, not guesswork
Approvals, status changes and other changes to the main records are recorded, so a firm can show who did what and when.
Each firm’s records, scoped to that firm
The application limits every query to the person’s firm, and row-level security in the database checks the firm’s work records a second time.
Usable by everyone on the team
Screens are designed for phones, tablets and desktops and work with a keyboard; automated accessibility tests check the main screens.
Status
Where Firmiva is today
Firmiva Practice, the first module, is built but isn’t generally available: early-access requests aren’t open, and there’s no self-serve sign-up, no published pricing, no production hosting and no public launch date yet.
Bulk task actions are built but not yet released, and recurring engagements are in development. Other modules, including a client portal, billing, accounting, tax and the Luna AI assistant, are planned and not available.
